I do not advocate dieting for weight loss. This is because they don’t work long term and will inevitably lead to the weight being put back on as it can’t be sustained. Diets encourage binging as you are restricting foods you enjoy for long periods – as you’re not enjoying your food and life style its not a long term option.

We make lots of negative associations with food, exercise and general life style patterns that can serve to hinder our health and weight goals. These associations are often started in childhood. Despite them being powerful and the source of emotional pain, they can be reversed and changed.

TREATMENT FOR WEIGHT LOSS

 

I use NLP and Hypnotherapy to reframe habits, patterns and associations with food- encouraging new habits to be developed and old ones to be stopped. These changes can be sustained and used for the rest of your life. My experience is that with increased motivation and insight, which is achieved in your sessions, this a realistic goal.

The session takes 2 hours and is often all patients need to reframe the associations and start your new plan in weight loss and lifestyle changes. If you require more sessions this is an option but generally I find that 2 intense hours of reframing and hypnosis is suffice to ignite changes that you will continue with a new motivation and drive.
